Morning visit of Boyana Church UNESCO site near Sofia and proceed to Plovdiv. Arrival after 2 hours. Check in at the hotel. Tour of Plovdiv, incl. the Roman Amphitheatre, St. Constantine and Helena Church, Hindlian House. Overnight 3* hotel.
Day 4

Departure via Stara Zagora ( stop in the centre to visit the Neolitic dwellings museum – the oldest preserved Neolitic dwellings museum and the Thracian Forum Ruins ) to the Black Sea coast. Arrival in Nessebur. Accommodation at 4* hotel and time to enjoy the sea.
Day 5

Full day tour of Nessebur UNESCO town and Sozopol museum town ( founded in the 7th c BC by Greek colonists under the name Apollonia, after the Greek god of Arts Apollo ). Return to Nessebur and second night at the same hotel.
Day 6

Departure from Nessebur to Kazanluk – the centre of the Rose Valley. Visit Kazanluk Thracian Tomb ( UNESCO site, copy ) and tasting rose products. Departure via Shipka memorial church anc the peak to Etura Open Air Ethnographic complex. Tour. Proceed to Drianovo Monastery. Evening arrival in Veliko Turnovo. Check in 4* hotel.
Day 7

Full day in Veliko Turnovo – visit Tsarevets Royal Hill with the fortress, the Patrioarh’s complex and Baldwin tower ( the leader of the 4th Crusade ). Afternoon to Arbanassi museum village and Petropavlovski Monastery. Overnight at the same hotel.
Day 8
BULGARIA / ROMANIA
Morning departure to Ivanovo Rock Monasteries UNESCO site. Short stop in Ruse border city. Proceed via the Bridge of Friendship ( the only one bridge on Danube between Bulgaria and Romania ) to Bucharest. Arrival Bucharest. Check in 4* hotel in the centre of the city. Dinner in Pescarus restaurant, with folk music and dance.
Day 9
ROMANIA
Sightseeing tour of Bucharest, then to Curtea de Arges to see its Byzanthine monastery, and arriving in the foothills of Carpatians, in the spa town of BAILE GOVORA. Check in hotel Belvedere 3*.
Day 10
ROMANIA
We go long the Olt valley to reach SIBIU, that is in 2007 european capitale of culture. Visit of the old town and we continue through saxon Transylvania to the medieval citadel of Sighisoara. It is where was born Vlad the Impaler or... Dracula! Dinner and night in the heart of the UNESCO citadel, in a cosy 3* hotel.
Day 11
ROMANIA
We see this morning the saxon villages with pastel colours and fortified churches, before arriving in an ancient merchant city, at Brasov. To night we are in the real carpathians , spending the night in the ski resort of Poiana Brasov, at hotel Alpin 4*, dinner in a traditional restaurant nearby with music.
Day 12
ROMANIA
Visits of the famous Bran castle, so-called Dracula castle and the baroque and beautiful Peles castle in Sinaia. Night in SINAIA hotel 4* dinner in town
Day 13
ROMANIA
Transfer directly to Bucharest airport being in the north of the city.
