Day 1

Depart USA
Board your overnight flight to Russia .

Day 2

Moscow

Arrive Moscow , Russia Arrival in Moscow . Transfer to hotel. Check in. The rest of the day is free to rest and explore the city on your own. In the evening, meeting with the tour guide. Welcome Dinner at a traditional Russian Restaurant with a folk show.

Day 3

Moscow

Acquaintance with Moscow . The day beings with the City Tour followed by a tour to Red Square , Kremlin and the Diamond Fund . See the famous landmarks and major sights of Russia 's most dynamic city, drive to Sparrow Hills for a splendid view of the Moscow river and the city below, visit Victory Park with its fountains and churches, Moscow State University . W alk the Kremlin grounds, Visit three landmark churches, Cathedral of the Assumption, Annunciation and Archangel dated back to the 15-16th centuries as well as the breathtaking St. Basil cathedral.
Our final stop - the Diamond Fund where you can see the breathtaking collection of the Russian Jewels, the crowns of Russian tzars and Faberge eggs .

Day 4

Moscow

Sergiev Posad & Tretyakov Gallery. Our day begins with the tour to the town of Sergiev Posad , formerly known as Zagorsk . You will visit the world famous Trinity Lavra of St.Sergey - the “Russian Vatican ”. The Trinity consists of St.Trinity Cathedral, Assumption Cathedral and Refectory . Free time to wander the ancient town of your own before returning to Moscow . Upon return, optional tour to the Tretyakov Gallery , one of the most celebrated and extensive collections of Russian art and artifacts in the world. The gallery was named after the financier and entrepreneur Pavel Tretyakov (1832-98), who donated approximately 2000 works of Russian art from his own private collection to the city of Moscow at the end of the 19th century. Rest of the day is fee to explore the Russian Capital on your own.
At 10 pm transfer to the train station for an overnight luxury Grand Express train to St. Petersburg .

Day 5

St. Petersburg Transfer from the train station to the hotel. Check in . At 12 PM Start off your acquaintance with a private Sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg ( 4 hourrs) . You will see the breathtaking architectural landmarks on the Nevsky Prospect along the Neva River , charming canals and narrow streets will take you back to tsarist Russia . The tour will take you to Nevsky Prospect, Fontanka ,Kazan Cathedral, Admiralty, Canal Griboyedova, the Palace Square , Winter Palace , Summer Gardens and will conclude at St. Isaacs' cathedral - an architectural marvel built in 1858 to be the main church of the Russian Empire. You can climb up the 300 or so steps to the observation walkway at the base of the cathedral's dome and enjoy the breathtaking views over the city.

Afternoon free to explore St. Petersburg on your own.

Day 6

St. Petersburg

Tour to Pushkin and Pavlovsk ( 7 hours) , two of the most marvelous ensembles of Royal palaces and parks, just outside St Petersburg , particularly famous for its impressive baroque Catherine Palace where Catherine the Great lived and died. The present-day palace was designed by Bartolomeo Rastrelli, the Royal architect, who created the Winter Palace . Most of the restored interiors date back to the times of Empress Elisabeth, daughter of Peter the Great, though there are some early 19th century interiors as well. You will also get a chance to see the newly renovated Amber room.
After Pushkin, lunch at the traditional Russian Restaurant in Podvorie. followed by the tour to Pavlovsk - the residence of Paul I, the son of Catherine the Great. A magnificent palace on a hill overlooks an English-style landscaped park, with a beautiful river running through it. Afternoon at leasure

Day 7

St. Petersburg Hermitage Museum Proceed to the tour of the Hermitage Museum ( 4 hours), that is Russia 's best gallery of world art, one of the most prominent art museums in the world and definitely one of the main tourist attractions of St. Petersburg . ( 4 hours) The rest of the day is free to enjoy St. Petersburg on your own, or take an optional tour.

At 8 pm Farewell Dinner at a traditional Russian Restaurant
